Democracy is basically a liberal state philosophy. When a state adopts democracy as its ideal, some conditions are imposed for the success of democracy. These conditions help in successfully running the state by eliminating the shortcomings of democratic governance. The essential conditions for the success of democracy are as follows:-
1. Democratic consciousness:-
Democratic consciousness spreads among the citizens through the spread of education system, social structure and political consciousness. The spread of democratic consciousness among the citizens takes democracy forward on the path of success. As a result of the spread of democratic consciousness, the people actively participate in politics and force the government to formulate policies in the interest of the people.
2. Spread of Democratic Education: -
The more democratic education is spread among the citizens of the state, the stronger the democratic structure will be.
