1. Guidance is possible at all ages :-
There is no specific age for guidance. Guidance is possible at any age. Guidance is possible at all ages from the birth of a child to death. Therefore, guidance is a continuous process.
2. Differences in guidance at different ages :-
Guidance varies at different stages of human life. Guidance is not the same for all ages. For example, the type of guidance required for a child; such guidance is not desirable for a teenager. Again, guidance is required in the life of an adult on specific matters such as livelihood, career, etc.; but such guidance is not required for a child.
3. Guidance is needed for all :-
Guidance is needed for all people of all ages. It is not right to think that guidance is needed only for people who are in trouble. Guidance is needed for both prevention and resolution of problems.
4. Guidance is voluntary:
In the guidance process, guidance is not forced on anyone. Guidance is given in the prevention and resolution of problems. But it is up to the person to accept that guidance or not.

Since guidance is needed for all stages of human life - so the scope of guidance is also wide. The problems of human life are not the same for everyone. Guidance is needed in different areas such as education, career, morality, religion, leisure - etc. Therefore, the scope of guidance is wide.

Guidance is provided at different levels and on different subjects in the life of the person. By utilizing all these guidelines, the person solves the problem, gains experience about different problems and develops the personality.
